…is an Internet resource to support individuals who rely on AAC and families, but all AAC stakeholders who hold paramount the interests of individuals who use AAC may benefit from the available information, blogs, tools, and links. Individuals who use AAC and families often feel frustrated that their values, beliefs and expectations are not taken into consideration by the various policies, procedures and service providers working within a public or private policy bureaucracy. Many professional stakeholders feel likewise. Consumers and professionals share this bond!

One of the primary goals of AAC ConsumerNet is aimed at empowering consumers and professionals with information to advocate for the supports and services that will lead to optimized communication and the fullest life experience possible for people who use AAC.
