Jim Marks

1965 - 2003

Jim Marks was born with cerebral palsy and joined the ranks of the many people who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Jim was an Eagle Scout. He was an active advocate for education, both for individuals with disabilities and also for those teachers and other professionals who serve people with disabilities. He also advocated for systems and public policy change for the support of people with disabilites. Jim lived in Massillon, Ohio with his mother Lettie and his late father Bill.
