2) 2004 Symposium

The 2004 Symposium on AAC Evidence-Based Practice: Research, Practice, and Policy will be held on Saturday June 19, 2004.  The symposium is organized as a RESNA Instructional Course immediately preceding the annual RESNA Conference.  2004 ASHA president Larry Higdon is the keynote speaker.  Additional information is available at the AAC Institute web site under Symposium.  ASHA CEUs are being provided without charge.

AAC Institute is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. This program is offered for up to 0.7 CEUs (Intermediate level; Professional area). ASHA CE Provider approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.

3) 2004 RESNA Conference

The 2004 RESNA Conference will be held from June 18-22 in Orlando, FL.  The 2004 Symposium on AAC Evidence-Based Practice (above) is being presented as a RESNA Instructional Course.  The conference program will include sessions that focus on AAC evidence-based practice and performance measurement as well as many other topics of interest to individuals working in the field of AAC.  Additional information can be found at the RESNA web site.  ASHA CEUs are being provided without charge.

4) Hall of Honor  ---  Will Taylor   1991 - 2002

Will Taylor used AAC and touched the lives of many people in the AAC field.  His legacy is being preserved through the AAC Institute Hall of Honor.
