1) ISAAC - AAC Institute University and Research Directory
ISAAC (International Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and AAC Institute have collaborated on the development of a directory of AAC research. This international directory includes contact and content information on universities and other organizations engaged in AAC research. Searches of the directory can be based on selected search criteria in the areas of topic, measurement and research methodology, and participants.

The University and Research Directory can be accessed through the web sites of both organizations: www.isaac-online.org and www.aacinstitute.org.

3) Third Annual International Symposium on AAC Evidence-Based Practice
The Third annual Symposium on AAC Evidence-Based Practice will be held Thursday August 4, 2005. The theme is Honoring the Values of Families and People who use AAC. The venue is the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. 4) Pittsburgh Employment Conference for Augmented Communicators (PEC)
The Pittsburgh Employment Conference, considered by some to be the most significant event in the field of AAC, is the largest gathering of people who use AAC in the world. 5) Angelman Syndrome Foundation Ninth Biennial Conference
The Ninth Biennial Conference of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation will be held June 29 - July 2 in Anaheim, California.
