Description:
This is the fifth annual Symposium on AAC Evidence-Based Practice. AAC professionals, families, and consumers gathered to discuss the role of AAC evidence-based practice in contributing to the educational goals of students who use AAC. Viewpoints of various stakeholders were presented using plenary session lectures and breakout sessions in which practical ideas were shown.

Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Identify methods, tools and resources for supporting AAC evidence-based practice,
2. Review “evidence” to collect to support therapy planning
3. Discuss tools & strategies to collect and analyze the “evidence”
4. Address the “evidence” with a fun therapy application
