Description
Participants identified, through a four day program, the breadth of assistive technology (AT) available for people with disabilities. They identified knowledge and skills needed to apply the principles of evidence-based practice, and discussed various AT resources. As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Identify the new technology, practical applications, and services available for people with disabilities.
2. Identify knowledge, skills, tools, and evidence needed to apply the principles of evidence-based practice.
3. Discuss and use the various assistive technology resources available.
4. Participate more fully in a multi-disciplinary assistive technology team.
