INDATA Quarterly Training –
Assistive Technology and Home Modification

Description: The Indiana Assistive Technology Act (INDATA) Project offers a number of assistive technology-related training opportunities for end-users of AT as well as AT professionals. These trainings are offered quarterly and include a variety of AT topics. Home modification and assistive technology can greatly increase the independence of people with disabilities. Consumers, Evaluators, Funders and Contractors all have unique perspective on the process. This training will pull those perspectives together to provide additional insight.

Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

1. 1. Identify at least three technologies designed to make homes more accessible
2. Be familiar with funding resources for assistive technology and home modification
3. Identify evaluator and contractor resources to assist with the home modification

CEUs
