Description:
This is the first annual conference of the Kansas Chapter of the National Autism Association (NAA). This activity supports the mission of NAA, to educate and empower families affected by autism and other neurological disorders, while advocating on behalf of those who cannot fight for their own rights.The program is designed to offer value to parents, educators, and others affected by autism.
Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
1) identify resourcesand evidence to support the treatment of individuals with autism;
2) raise public and professional awareness of environmental toxins as causative factors in neurological damage that often results in an autism or related diagnosis; and
3) advocate for families using the latest tools and resources.
