Conference on Standard of Care and Therapeutic Advances
for Spinal Muscular Atrophy

May 2, 2009
Atlanta, GA

This conference is designed to provide attendees with the most recent clinical and research advances in Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). SMA is the leading genetic cause of infant mortality affecting one in every 6,000 births. However, exciting new progress in medical technology has led to significant improvements in the clinical outcomes for patients with SMA. Experts from around the country will focus on five key areas; diagnosis, pulmonary care, gastrointestinal and feeding issues, orthopedics and rehabilitation, and palliative care.
