Description: This two-day training is to increase awareness, knowledge and skills of assistive technology for clientele with vision loss and employers through world class services and teamwork. Exhibitors will present on new pieces of technology and participants will have the opportunity to interact with exhibitors and devices..
Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:1) Provide training on the latest low vision and blind assistive technology products.
2) Create sessions where participants can identify three or more technologies they will use and three or more specific goals they will reach to better serve clients with vision loss after completion of training.
3) Identify regional working teams of VRCs, RES, and AWT staff to increase employment outcomes of clients with vision loss.
CEUs
