Elkhonon Goldberg, PhD, is an author, scientist, educator, and clinician, internationally renowned for his clinical work, writings, and teachings in neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience.  He is a Clinical Professor of Neurology at New York University School of Medicine, Diplomat of the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Neuropsychology, and Director of The East-West Science and Education Foundation.

As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

- Understand the effects of aging on different parts of the brain;

- Understand the concept of neuroplasticity;

- Understand the role of cognitive novelty in maintaining brain health;

- Understand the concept of “cognitive fitness”.
