Description:

The TAAT annual conference is a forum for general and special education teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech language pathologists, paraprofessionals, administrators, parents and others who are involved with public education in the state of Tennessee.  TAAT offers presentations by teachers, clinicians, researchers and vendors who provide the latest in products, techniques and information about assistive technology as it relates to the public schools. 

Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

Preconference Outcomes:
1) Use the Boardmaker program to create templates and activities.
2) Use the interactive features of Boardmaker Plus  to make engaging learning activities.
3) Download and modify materials for the individual user.

Conference Outcocmes:
1) Locate information pertaining to best AT practices in public education.
2) Return to their classrooms or schools with practical information that they can use with their students.
3) Identify resources for further exploration in the field of AT.

CEUs

The 2010 TAAT Pre-conference Workshops and Conference are approved for a total of up to 1.7 CEUs.

To register for CEUs for the 2010 TAAT Pre-conference Workshops and Conference, download the Session Attendance Report Form, complete the form, and save the file using this file name model:

2010-TAAT-Lastname-Firstname.xls.

Then send the file as an email attachment to ceus@aacinstitute.org. This is a spreadsheet file (.xls). If any difficulty is encountered in using this form, write to ceus@aacinstitute.org to request an alternative file format.
