This 90 minute course is an interactive and hands-on demonstration of PogoBoards, a web based application for designing communication boards, books, visual systems, visual scenes and other picture-symbol based therapy materials.Participants will explore the unique designing features of Pogo, including an integrated Google image search, picture symbol randomizing, alphabetizing and relocating, as well as the speak mode (voice output) and foreign language options.

Learning objectives for participants:

1. Participants will explore the “Global Community Folder” to quickly locate and edit pre-made grids, visual systems and other therapy materials.

2. Participants will design a custom communication board, grid, visual system or other therapy material

3. Participants will explore the voice output feature, “speak mode” on PogoBoards and discuss options for functional use

4. Participants will create a pdf copy of given therapy materials and email created materials to other study group participants
