Apps for the iPad, iTouch and iPhone on Autism

Description:
Individuals with autism have complex needs.  There are thousands of apps out there, but which ones will meet their needs?  This webinar will provide a preview and describe uses of apps that therapists and parents are finding useful in meeting the unique challenges of individuals with autism.  These apps promote a wide range of skills for individuals with autism: communication, social skills, behavior and more.

Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

1. Participants will be able to identify three apps that promote communication

2. Participants will be able to identify one app that tracks behavior for behavior support

3. Participants will be able to identify two apps that provide visual supports  or task completion

4. Participants will be able to describe three implementation strategies that can be used with various apps
