Abstract

Many persons with ALS will eventually experience significant speech loss and will benefit from augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Yet communication may be more important than ever. These paper and slides are intended to provide guidance to PALS and others regarding ways to assure that the most effective communication possible is achieved.
