Setting Up AAC Devices
for U-LAM Recording
U-LAM can be used to collect language samples from any speech output AAC system. Since analysis requires a text representation of what is spoken, it is preferable that text be recorded directly, avoiding the need for transcription. U-LAM can record serial port output from an AAC system. However, the system must be configured to provide a serial output.
