Learning Outcomes
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to how evidence-based practice is being applied to AAC service delivery.
2. discuss the application of the three components of evidence-based practice; research evidence, evidence at the personal level, knowledge and skills of SLPs.
3. identify methods, tools and resources for supporting AAC evidence-based practice,
4. collect and analyze AAC language samples, and
5. develop quantitative and qualitative measurements of AAC outcomes.
6. identify components and methods of a case study and single subject research design
