The AAC Institute’s symposium continues to grow and strengthen its position as an international leader in the AAC community. Building on the success of the 2007 symposium, we again will be located at the Sheraton Station Square. Also, we again will be hosting an Exhibit Hall.
The theme of this year’s symposium is related to literacy and language for individuals using AAC. The exhibit hall is planned to provide the opportunity for symposium attendees to view product innovations that support literacy and language development. For many attendees this may be a first time experience to become familiar with the AAC industry. Attendees are strong advocates for building local capacity and recommending appropriate products for developing language and literacy.
A limited number of exhibitors will have quality time with families, practitioners, and consumers, to acquaint them with their product lines. The exhibit hall will provide a very up close and personal atmosphere to preview, discuss, and demonstrate products. Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions. The exhibit hall location and the Symposium schedule encourage quality contact with participants and public attendees.Who Attends?
The AACI Symposium attracts a variety of AAC stakeholders. the Symposium attracts stakeholders that do not attend industry trade shows, yet have influence on products being purchased for individuals who use AAC.Exhibit Schedule
